The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached photo in regards to two grand larcenies which occurred within the confines of the Midtown South Precinct. The details are as follows:
- On February 27, 2017 at 6:50 p.m. the victim, a 93 year-old male, was walking up the stairs in the West 72 Street and Broadway train station when an unidentified male bumped into him and removed his wallet. The unidentified male attempted to use the victim’s debit card at an ATM inside of a Duane Reade, located at West 42 Street and 8 Avenue but was unable to withdraw any cash.
- On March 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. the victim, an 83 year-old male, was riding on the escalator to the 7 train platform inside of the Times Square station when an unidentified male bumped into him an removed his wallet. The male then fled the location. The unidentified male then attempted to use the victim’s credit card at the Resorts World Casino but was unsuccessful.
