WANTED: Assault (Queens)

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual in connection to an assault within the confines of the 110 Precinct.  Details are as follows:

 It has been reported to police that on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at approximately 4:00 p.m. the individual approached the 35 year-old male victim in the mezzanine of the Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights “E” train subway station.  The individual proceeded to attack the victim from behind with his fists, following an earlier dispute, and then fled on a train to parts unknown.  The victim sustained a swollen lip and a fracture to his left ankle and was transported by EMS to an area hospital for care.  The individual is described as follows:

  •  Male, black, approximately 5’8″, approximately 170lbs.

Last seen wearing a:

  •  Dark colored jacket with a dark hoodie underneath, glasses, and a black Du-rag.  The individual was also carrying a large black backpack.
