The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating and identifying the individual depicted in the attached video in connection to an assault (non-fatal shooting) incident that occurred within the confines of the 46 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 3:50 p.m. an unidentified male was standing in front of 124 East 183 Street, where he was observed shooting into a taxi on the opposite side of the street striking both passengers inside the vehicle. The passengers, a 21 year-old female and a 23 year old male were both sustained gunshot wounds to the torso. The individual then fired at a third person, a 28 year-old male victim who was inside 124 East 183 Street, and fled to direction unknown. The victims were removed to area hospitals in stable condition.
He is described as a:
- Male black 30 to 40 years old, 5’7″ to 5’9″, 180lbs.
- Last seen wearing a green jacket, gray pants and black sneakers.
