WANTED: Sex Abuse (Manhattan)

 

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to a sex abuse incident that occurred within the confines of the 32Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Wednesday February 15, 2017, at approximately 10:20 p.m. inside of a residential building in the vicinity of Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard and West 142 Street, the individual followed the 27 year-old female victim onto the elevator and attempted to engage her in conversation. During the elevator ride the individual exposed himself to the victim. When the victim exited the elevator at her intended destination the individual followed her and pushed his hand down inside the back of her jeans and touched her genitals. The individual fled the building northbound on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard.

 The individual is described as a:

  • Male black, approximately 20 years old, 5’10”, 160lbs.
  • Last seen wearing a black hooded coat, a black shirt, black and white pants, black and white sneakers and a yellow metal chain with a pendant around his neck.
