The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male seen in the attached surveillance video wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery in transit within the confines of 6th Precinct/Transit District 2. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 2:40 a.m. a 25-year-old male victim was aboard a southbound “D” train when he was approached by two unidentified males who attempted to engage him in conversation. Both males began to punch the victim about the head and removed the victim’s glasses, neck chain, wallet, $500 and iPhone. The victim suffered pain and bruises to his face and head but refused medical attention. The males fled in an unknown direction.
- Surveillance photos and video are attached and taken from the 155th St D Train subway station, where one of the unidentified male entered the subway system.
