WANTED: Robbery (Manhattan)


The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo and video in regards to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 25 Precinct. Details are as follows:

It was reported to the police that on Sunday, February 5, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. the victim, a 30-year-old female was entering a residential building located within the vicinity of Malcolm X Boulevard and Park Avenue, when she was approached by the individuals who requested that she let them in the building, the victim refused and one individual snatched her cell phone from her hand and fled the location eastbound on East 131 Street. The other individual grabbed the victim, throwing her to the ground, he attempted to remove her coat. The victim managed to free herself and the individual fled the location. The victim sustained bruising to her to her head, but refused medical attention.

  • Individual 1: male, Black, light complexion, approximately 15-20 years of age, last seen wearing ripped blue jeans, and a black hoodie jacket.
  • Individual 2: male, Black, medium complexion, approximately 15-20 years of age, last seen wearing red pants, gray hoodie, and a black coat.
