WANTED: Attempted Robbery (Staten Island)


The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video and photo in regards to an attempted robbery that occurred within the confines of the 120 Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to the police that on February 3, 2017, at 6:15 p.m. the individual approached the 62-year-old female victim from behind as she walked past 8 Edgar Terrance and attempted to remove her purse. The individual pushed the victim to the ground and fled the location towards Westervelt Avenue empty handed. The victim sustained a scratched and a bump to the left side of her face, and was treated on scene for her injuries by EMS.

  •  The individual is a male, Black, last seen wearing all black clothing
