WANTED: Attempted Robbery (Brooklyn)


The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual in connection to an attempted robbery within the confines of the 77 Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It has been reported to police that on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at approximately 11:05 a.m. the individual entered a Verizon Store, located at 718 Franklin Avenue, and displayed a firearm and demanded property.  The individual proceeded to strike two victims, a 31 year-old male inside the location, and a 54 year-old male outside the location, with his firearm and fled. No property was taken. Both victims were transported to Coney Island Hospital for abrasions to their head and are in stable condition. The individual is described as follows:

  • Male, black, approximately 20-years-old, approximately 6’0″ tall, approximately 180 lbs.
  • Wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a black ski mask, and sneakers.
