Officers In Brooklyn Honored By Community

The Greater Saint Mary Church in Brooklyn hosted their 25th Annual Police Appreciation Day service for the officers of Patrol Borough Brooklyn North. Community members in the Bedford Stuyvesant area of Brooklyn gathered at the church to thank NYPD officers for keeping their community safe. People of different faiths and communities came out to show their support and meet the officers that patrol their neighborhood.

“It fills our spirits and our hearts to let us know that their are so man y great people out here, especially in Brooklyn North, that love and care for what we do,” said Assistant Chief Jeffrey Maddrey.
