WANTED: Robbery (Bronx)


The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 42 Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Friday January 27, 2017, at approximately 4:50 p.m. in the rear of 1309 Washington Avenue, the individual approached the 54 year-old male victim from behind and put his hands inside the victim’s pockets. When the victim pushed the individual away, the individual stabbed the victim twice with an unknown sharp object. The individual fled, empty-handed, into 1309 Washington Avenue. The victim suffered stab wounds to his torso and forearm; he was removed to an area hospital in serious but stable condition.

 The individual is described as a:

  • Male Hispanic, in his 20s.
  • Last seen wearing a red and black jacket, a red hooded sweater, a red knit cap, blue jeans and white sneakers.
