WANTED: Robbery (Bronx)

 

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the three unidentified males seen in the attached surveillance video in connection with a home invasion robbery that occurred within the confines of the 49th Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police by the victims, two 31-year-old females, that on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 4:25 a.m. three unknown individuals gained entry inside of their apartment located on Yates Avenue. One of the individuals displayed a handgun and demanded cash and property. The armed individual then assaulted the two victims by pistol whipping their heads. The individuals removed two iPhone 6 cellphones, a purse, credit cards and cash and fled the location in a black SUV, possibly a Jeep Liberty. The victims both sustained lacerations to their heads and were removed to Jacobi Hospital where they were treated and released.

  •  Individual #1 is described as a male Black, approximately 25-years-old, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants, armed with a gray semi-automatic handgun.
  •  Individual #2 is described as a male Black, approximately in his 20s, wearing a gray sweat suit.
  •  Individual #3 is described as a male Black, approximately in his 20s, wearing all black clothing.

 Attached is surveillance video obtained from the vicinity of Yates Avenue and Van Nest Avenue, which shows the individuals prior to the incident and then immediately after fleeing the scene. The surveillance video also shows the vehicle the individuals fled in.
