The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo wanted for questioning in regards to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 43rd Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at approximately 4:50 p.m. an unidentified female was picked up by a taxi at 2741 Jerome Avenue and requested to be dropped off in front of 1315 Olmstead Avenue. When the taxi driver arrived at the drop off location, the female punched him and removed the driver’s Galaxy 5 cellphone from the middle console before fleeing out of the vehicle southbound on Olmstead Avenue. The driver refused medical attention at the scene.
The individual is described as a:
- Female White, approximately 40-years-old, 5’0″, 120lbs, and last seen wearing a light jacket and baseball cap.
