WANTED: Menacing (Manhattan)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in regards to a menacing that occurred within the confines of the 17th Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to the police that on Saturday, December 31,2016, at 12:20 a.m. the victim a, 29-year-old female entered the East 59 Street and Lexington Avenue subway station, where she first observed the individual by the turnstile smoking a cigarette. The victim proceeded towards the mezzanine to the platform, when she noticed the individual had followed her and was holding an ice pick in his left hand. Both the victim and the individual boarded the southbound “N” train but at different cars. The victim further observed the individual entering her car after it left the station. The victim exited at the 42 Street Times Square station and the individual remained on the train to parts unknown.

The individual is a:

  •  Male, Black, 5’3″ 145lbs., brown eyes, black hair, medium complexion, black shoes, red Christmas tree skirt.
