WANTED: Attempted Rape (Bronx)

 

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video in regards to an attempted rape that occurred within the confines of the 41st Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to the police that on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 7:20 p.m. the unknown individual approached the 40-year-old female victim on Southern Boulevard near Tiffany Street as she was exiting a car. The individual exposed himself and attempted to pull the victim’s pants down. The victim fought off the individual who then fled westbound on Southern Boulevard toward Longwood Avenue. The victim was not injured. The Bronx Special Victims Squad is investigating.

 The individual is described as a:

  • Male Hispanic, approximately 16-years-old, 5’3″ tall, 130 pounds, with a medium complexion.
  • Last seen wearing a gray bubble coat, a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black sneakers, and a multi-colored backpack.
