The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video and photo in regards to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 73 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to the police that Saturday, January 21, 2017, at 3:00 p.m., both the victim, a 19-year-old male, and the unknown individual were aboard the northbound “J” train when they got into a verbal dispute that turned into a physical altercation. The individual stabbed the victim with a sharp object in the lower torso. When the train pulled into the Chauncey Street subway station, the victim exited and the individual remained on the train, continuing northbound. The victim went to Brookdale hospital for his injury, in stable condition.
The individual is described as a male black, approximately 25-35 years of age, dark complexion, 5’8″ tall, weighing 250lbs., with brown eyes, black hair, last seen wearing yellow work boots, a gray hooded jacket, and blue jeans.
