NYPD Gang Division Seizes 5 Firearms, Suspect Arrested

“I’ve wanted to be part of the Bronx Gang Division for my whole career,” said Officer Ulich.

“It gives me the opportunity to take guns off the streets and stop senseless violence in the borough I have served since I graduated the academy in 2004.”

NYPD Gang Division officers in the Bronx concluded a month long investigation that led to the arrest of a suspected gang member this week. Officer Ulich and Detective Jeeuth worked with the Bronx District Attorney’s office to lead the investigation and acquire a search warrant. Along with other members of the Bronx Gang Division, the officers conducted the search warrant at the Bronx River Houses. The officers on the scene safely arrested the suspect and seized five illegal guns.

The following items were recovered during the search:

  • Black Taurus revolver
  • Chrome Raven Arms .25 semi-automatic pistol
  • Black Hi-Point .45 semi-automatic pistol
  • Chrome .44 revolver
  • Various narcotics

The suspect was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of controlled substances.
