The New York Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an individual depicted in the attached photo wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery which occurred within the confines of the 50th Precinct/Transit District 3. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at approximately 10:45 p.m. at 231st Street and Broadway subway station, an individual approached a 34-year-old male, put him in a chokehold, pointed a firearm at his head and demanded money. The suspect fled with the victim’s wallet and cellphone. The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.
Individual is described as:
- Male Hispanic who is 30-40 years old, 230lbs, last seen wearing a dark jacket and a back pack.
