Police Commissioner O’Neill presided over a re-dedication ceremony of the Memorial Wall at the 19 Precinct stationhouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on Tuesday, October 11th. Commissioner O’Neill was joined by the 19 Precinct’s Commanding Officer, Deputy Inspector Clint McPherson, former precinct commanding officers, members of the public, as well current and past officers assigned to the precinct. Additionally, family members of Patrolman McAuliffe, Patrolman Flood, and Patrolman Keller, were in attendance.

There are a total of seven names listed on the Memorial Wall — all members of the NYPD who died in the line of duty. Originally, the wall was a collection of plaques bearing the names of each fallen officer. The new memorial is a hardwood-finished wall displaying the name, photograph and shield number of each officer.  The new wall was built by 19 Precinct Auxiliary Lieutenant Joseph Cilento.
