WANTED: Robbery (Brooklyn)

 

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached video in connection to robbery that occurred within the confines of the 88th Precinct. Details are as follows:

Incident #1: It was reported to the police that on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at approximately 9:10 p.m. the victim, a 35-year-old male was walking in the vicinity of Willoughby Avenue and Ryerson Street, when a group of unidentified individuals approached him from behind and struck him on the back of the head and face causing swelling, bruising and a laceration. The individuals then removed the victim’s cell phone valued at $500 before fleeing to parts unknown. The victim refused medical attention. There were no other injuries reported as a result of this incident.

Incident #2: It was reported to the police that on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at approximately 9:40 p.m. the victim, a 28-year-old male was walking in the vicinity of Washington Avenue and Willoughby Avenue, when a group of unidentified individuals struck the victim on the back of his head and was kicked in the face, elbow and leg causing swelling, bruising and a laceration. The individuals then removed the victim’s cell phone valued at $500 before fleeing to parts unknown.

  • The five individuals are described as male Blacks, approximately 12-15 years old.
