The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 10 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Friday September 23, 2016, at approximately 6:00 a.m. in front of 245 9 Avenue, the suspect made anti-white statements to the 40 year-old male victim prior to cutting him with a knife. The victim suffered a laceration to his left wrist. The suspect fled the store in an unknown direction.
The individual is described as:
- Male black, 30 years old, 5’8″, 200 to 240lbs; last seen wearing a black long sleeved shirt, dark colored pants and a white shirt.
