WANTED: Assault (Manhattan)

 

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals seen in the attached surveillance video in connection with an assault, in transit, within the confines of the 6th Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 5:38 p.m. a 45-year-old male victim, was on board the south bound “F” train approaching the at West 4th Street subway station, when the victim and two unidentified individuals had a verbal dispute.  One individual then struck the victim in the face with a closed fist while the other individual approached him from behind and struck him on the back of his head with an object. The individuals exited the train at West 4th Street subway station and fled in an unknown direction.

 The individuals are described as:

  • Male Blacks, approximately 18-25 years old.
