The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male seen in the attached surveillance photos in connection with a robbery within the confines of the Midtown South Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 2:07 p.m. an unidentified male entered a Santander Bank located at 1350 Broadway, approached the teller window, demanded cash and stated that he had a gun. Two tellers complied, and the unidentified male exited the bank with an undetermined sum of cash. He fled westbound on West 35th Street on foot. No firearm was displayed. There were no shots fired, and there were no injuries as a result of this incident.
The unidentified male is:
- White and in his late 40s to early 50s. He is 5’7″ with a thin build, a gray beard and crooked and discolored teeth.
- He was wearing a bright orange t-shirt, blue jeans and a gray baseball cap with “NY” on it.
