WANTED: Robbery (Brooklyn)

 

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo and video in regards to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 61 Precinct. Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 3:05 p.m. opposite 1708 East 8 Street, an unknown individual approached a 42-year-old female victim and stated, “Give me your money! Give me your purse or I’ll hurt you!”The individual proceeded to forcibly remove the victim’s purse, which contained $150 dollars, before he fled southbound on 8 Street. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.

 The individual is described as:

  • An adult Hispanic male, with short straight black hair and tattoos on his right arm and chest.
  • Last seen wearing gray shorts, a black shirt and white sneakers.
