WANTED: Robbery (Bronx)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photos in regards to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to the police that on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at 6:05 p.m. the victim, an 82-year-old female was walking in the vicinity of Arthur Avenue and East 188th Street, when a unidentified individual followed her into the vestibule of her apartment building. After the individual gained entry into the building he then removed the victim’s gold chain from her neck, pushed her down and began kicking her while she was on the ground. The male then fled on foot eastbound on East 188th Street to parts unknown. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

  •  The individual is a male Hispanic or White and last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray shorts, black sneakers and black baseball cap.
