On Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 11:44 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a female shot at West 144 Street and Lenox Avenue, within the confines of the 32nd Precinct. Upon arrival, police observed a 61-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the neck, unresponsive and unconscious. EMS also responded and transported the female to Harlem Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

The individual is a male, Black late 20’s to early 30’s , short black hair, athletic build, clean shaven, last seen wearing a black shirt.
A $10,000 reward has been offered leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the above incident.
$2,500 payable by Crime Stoppers upon arrest and indictment; $7,500 payable by the NYPD upon arrest and conviction for the person(s) responsible for the above listed crime.
