The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached sketch in connection to an endangering the welfare of a child incident that occurred within the confines of the 46 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Monday July 25, 2016, at approximately 2:30 p.m. inside of a residence in the vicinity of 175 Street and Walton Avenue, the suspect followed the 12 year-old female victim into an elevator and threatened to harm her if she didn’t follow him off the elevator and into a stairway. The victim refused and ran off the elevator; she banged on the door to an apartment and yelled for help. The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction.
- The individual is described as a male black, 20 years old, slim build; last seen wearing a dark colored shirt and dark colored pants.
