The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached sketch in regards to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 73 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at 12:30 p.m. the 12-year-old male victim was walking on Sutter Avenue when a unknown individual approached him from behind and placed the victim into a choke hold. The male was then dragged inside a residential building located in the vicinity of Sutter Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard, where his Apple I-phone 4S was forcibly removed from his pants pockets. The individual then fled the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries to his left leg and was transported to Brookdale Hospital via EMS, where he was treated and released.
The unknown individual is described as:
- Male black, approximately 18-years-old, 6’0″ tall with brown eyes and black hair in twists, last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue shorts.
