WANTED: Burglary (Manhattan)


The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photographs and video in connection to a burglary within the confines of the 6 Precinct. The video and photographs are from a surveillance camera installed inside the victim’s home. The details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Monday July 11, 2016, at approximately 1:30 p.m. inside of a residential building in the vicinity of 6 Avenue and West 9 Street, the suspect gained entry into the 28 year-old male victim’s apartment through a window after he pushed in an air condition unit. The suspect then removed the victim’s electronic tablet, a laptop and a pair of sunglasses. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

 The individual is:

  •  Male, black; last seen wearing an orange t-shirt, a dark colored knit cap and dark colored sweatpants.
