The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to identify the whereabouts of the following individual in connection to an attempted robbery that occurred within the confines of the 30 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Thursday July 21, 2016, at approximately 9:50 a.m. in the vicinity of St. Nicolas Avenue and West 152 Street, the suspect approached the 86 year-old male victim from behind, displayed a knife and demanded his property. The victim refused and tried to run away from the suspect. The suspect chased the victim southbound on St. Nicholas Avenue where the victim sought the assistance of people on the street. The suspect then fled northbound on St. Nicholas Avenue empty-handed.
The individual has been identified as:
- Bullock, Melik
- 19 year-old male
- 5’9″, 170lbs, brown eyes and black hair
