The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photograph in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 84 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Tuesday July 19, 2016, at approximately 4:00 p.m. at the Barclay’s Center subway station, the suspect engaged in a dispute with the 48 year-old male and 45 year-old female victims while inside an elevator. Once they were off the elevator, the suspect followed the victims to the mezzanine area of the Pacific Street “R” subway station and sprayed them with an unknown chemical substance before he fled in an unknown direction. The victims suffered pain in their eyes as a result of the assault. They were removed to Brooklyn Hospital in stable condition.
- The individual is described as a male black, 6’0″, 300lbs; last seen wearing a black du-rag, a green and black t-shirt, a brown jacket, black jeans and black sneakers.
