WANTED: Grand Larceny Pattern (Citywide)

 

The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance with locating and identifying the individual in the attached video and photographs, who is wanted in connection to several grand larcenies that occurred within the confines of the 19, 103 and 105 Precincts. The video and photographs are from the second and fourth incidents. Details are as follows:

 Incident #1 (19 pct): It was reported to police that on Friday July 3, 2015, at approximately 12:01 a.m. while inside her residence, the 50 year-old female victim realized the suspect withdrew approximately $5,500 in cash from her bank account without her permission. The investigation revealed that the suspect entered a Chase Bank located at 86 York Street, located in the confines of the 1 Precinct, used a fake identification card to pose as the account holder and withdrew the money.

 Incident #2 (103 pct): It was reported to police that on Tuesday August 11, 2015, at approximately 10:00 a.m. while inside her residence, the 52 year-old female victim realized the suspect withdrew approximately $74,000 in cash from her bank account without her permission. The investigation revealed that the suspect entered multiple Capital One Banks, used a fake identification card to pose as the account holder and withdrew the money.

 Incident #3 (105 pct): It was reported to police that on Monday August 31, 2015, at approximately 12:00 p.m. while inside her residence, the 49 year-old female victim realized the suspect withdrew approximately $29,000 in cash from her bank account without her permission. The investigation revealed that the suspect entered multiple Capital One Banks, used a fake identification card to pose as the account holder and withdrew the money.

 Incident #4 (105 pct): It was reported to police that on Wednesday November 4, 2015, at approximately 4:00 p.m. while inside her residence, the 29 year-old female victim was informed by Capital One Bank representatives that the suspect attempted to withdraw approximately $6,000 from her bank account without her permission. The investigation revealed that the suspect entered the Capital One Bank at 107-18 Continental Avenue, located in the confines of the 112 Precinct, and tried to use a fake identification card to pose as the account holder. When the bank teller asked for another piece of identification the suspect walked out of the bank.

 The individual is described as a:

  •  Female black, in her 50s; who often wears a white hat, a light or dark colored suit jacket and carries a large brown bag.
