The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photos in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 1 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Tuesday June 14, 2016, at approximately 5:50 p.m. on the southbound platform of the Bowling Green subway station, the suspect approached the 26 year-old female victim from behind and told her he was going to slap her before he hit her and rendered her unconscious. The victim fell to the ground and the suspect fled in an unknown direction. The victim suffered a laceration to her lip and bruising to her face; she was removed to New York Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.
The individual is described as:
- Male black, 35 to 40 years old, 6’4″ to 6’5″, 250lbs.
- Last seen wearing a blue shirt, light colored jeans and red sneakers.
