WANTED: Robbery (Manhattan)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects wanted for questioning with regards to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 5th Precinct. Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at approximately 7:02 p.m. two male individuals entered the cashier/bail office located at 125 White Street and taser a 66-year-old female victim and forcibly removed her purse which contained $30,000. The male individuals then fled in a silver or white Lexus eastbound on Canal Street. The female was removed to NY Downtown Hospital treated and released for minor injuries. There were no other injuries reported as a result of this incident.

  • Individual #1 is described as a male Black, in his late 20’s to early 30’s and last seen wearing a blue sweater with white zipper trimming, gray jogging pants, white sneakers with white laces, black baseball cap and carrying the brown purse.
  • Individual #2 is described as a male Black, in his late 20’s to early 30’s and last seen wearing a green camouflage hoody sweater, blue jeans and black sneakers.
