WANTED: Robbery (Bronx)

 

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached video and photographs in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 49 Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Friday May 13, 2016, at approximately 2:30 p.m. inside of 2427 East Tremont Avenue (T’s Nail Supply), one of the two suspects displayed a handgun and demanded money from the 27 year-old male and 49 year-old female employees. The employees complied and gave the suspects money from a cash register. The suspects then took the employees to the basement, tied them up and left them there. The suspects then took money from a second cash register before they fled the location in an unknown direction.

 The first individual is:

  • Male with a black mask over his face, he carried a purple and black duffel bag and a clear umbrella.
  • Last seen wearing a black t-shirt over a gray hooded sweater and black pants.

 The second individual is:

  • Male with black mask over his face, he carried a black backpack and a red umbrella.
  • Last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater and black pants.
