Team Up Tuesday

Schools across the Big Apple kicked off a new program called Team Up on Tuesday morning where NYPD cops visited hundreds of elementary schools.

Police Commissioner Bratton and NYC Schools Chancellor Carmen Farina visited a first grade class and read Ferdinand to start the morning.

Officers told kids about their experiences on the job and the importance of being a strong member of the community and that cops are here to help them.
