WANTED: Robbery (Bronx)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individuals depicted in the attached surveillance photos regarding a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 42 Precinct. Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 6:05 p.m. at the intersection of Union Avenue and East 163 Street, three individuals approached the 37-year-old male victim and struck him with a metal garbage can and a metal shovel. While the victim was on the ground, the individuals continued to assault him and removed his wallet. The individuals fled in various directions to parts unknown. The victim sustained multiple injuries about the body and was transported via EMS to Lincoln Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

  • Individual #1 is described as a male black, with a light complexion, wearing a black skull hat, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers.
  • Individual #2 is described as a male black, with a medium complexion, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray jeans and purple sneakers.
  • Individual #3 is described as a male black, with a medium complexion, wearing a gray sweatshirt with a black checkered design, white pants and black sneakers.
