The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photographs in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 61 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Sunday February 14, 2016, between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. inside of a southbound “F” train at the Avenue X subway station, the 30 year-old male victim’s wallet, watch and approximately $40 was removed while he slept. Among the items inside his wallet were credit cards and debit cards. At approximately 4:11 a.m. the suspect depicted in the attached photographs tried to withdraw money at an ATM inside of the Astoria Federal Bank located at 489 Neptune Avenue with the victim’s debit card.
The individual is described as:
- Male white, 40 to 50 years old, 5’8″, 200 lbs.
- Last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, a beige coat, blue jeans and yellow work boots.
