WANTED: Burglary Pattern (Bronx)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance with locating the individual in the attached photograph and video who is wanted in connection to a burglary pattern within the confines of the 42 Precinct. Details are as follows:

Incident #1: On Friday, March 18, 2016 at 9:20 p.m. inside of 488 East 163 Street, the individual gained entry to the office of Wavecrest Management Team by using a Metrocard on the door. The individual removed two televisions, a printer and a set of keys. The suspect fled the location through the door. The total value of property removed is $2,650.

Incident #2: On Monday, March 21, 2016 at 6:00 a.m. inside of 507 East 161 Street, the individual used a key to gain entry inside a residential apartment. The individual removed an Apple iPad, an Xbox One and a remote control. The total value of property removed is $650.

Incident #3: On Monday, March 21, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. inside of 508 East 162 Street, the individual used a key to gain entry inside a residential apartment. The individual removed two Techno Swiss watches, men’s perfume, and a large quantity of clothing, to include Louis Vuitton and Gucci belts. The total value of property removed is $4,535.

Incident #4: On Monday, March 23, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. inside of 507 East 161 Street, the individual used a key to gain entry inside a residential apartment. The individual removed an Apple iPad, a Tiffany & Company bracelet, and a Michele Watch. The total value of property removed is $2,355.

Incident #5: On Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 7:30 a.m. inside of 488 East 163 Street, the individual used a key to gain entry inside a residential apartment. The individual removed an assortment of jewelry, a Nintendo Wii console, a Nintendo DS console, various video games, an Apple iPod, Beats headphones and a DVD player. The total value of property removed is $3,455.

Incident #6: On Monday, April 4, 2016 at 7:59 p.m. inside of 488 East 163 Street, the individual attempted to gain entry inside of a residential apartment but was unsuccessful. The individual fled the location on foot. Video from this incident is attached and available at DCPI.

The individual being sought has been identified as:

  • Mark Wiggins, a 26-year-old male black who resides in the Bronx.
  • He is described as being 6’2″ tall, weighing 195 pounds, with a dark complexion, black hair, and brown eyes.
