The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three unidentified males wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery in transit within the confines of Transit District 4/7th Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at 5:15 p.m. inside the Delancey Street Station located at Essex Street and Delancey Street, male #1 opened the emergency exit gate and asked the 27-year-old victim if he wanted to enter through it. The victim declined. Upon entering via the turnstile, the first male grabbed the victim from behind, pushed him against the wall, while the second male cut the victim’s back right jeans pocket. The third male removed the victim’s wallet with $170 and the victim’s iPhone 6 from the pocket of his hooded sweatshirt. The males fled the station to parts unknown.
