WANTED: Robbery (Bronx)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photos in regards to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 46 Precinct. Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Monday, March 7, 2016, at 1:55 p.m. the suspect, posing as a city employee, knocked on the victim’s apartment door on University Avenue and said he needed to check the lead in her apartment. After being let in, the suspect proceeded to force the 28-year-old female victim into her bedroom where he bound her hands with zip-ties. The suspect then went through the apartment and removed an undetermined amount of cash and a Samsung Galaxy phone. There were no reported injuries.

The suspect is a:

  • Hispanic male in his mid-thirties, 5’10” tall.
