The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance in identifying and locating individual depicted in the attached video in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at approximately 3:20 a.m. a 25 year old male victim was inside of a deli located at 851 East Tremont Avenue, and approached by a male who attempted to engage him in conversation as he was ordering a sandwich. At this moment, a second male removed the victim’s bicycle from inside of the store and fled. The victim noticed his bicycle being removed and ran after the individual but before he exited the store, he dropped his cellphone which the first male picked up and fled. While outside, the victim tried to regain possession of the bicycle but a third individual approached him pointing a firearm at the back of his head and then fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured as a result of this incident.
- Person of interest#1 is identified as a male Hispanic last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans, and black sneakers. Engaged the victim in conversation and later removes the victim’s cellphone.
- Person of interest#2 is identified as a male Hispanic with black afro style hair, last seen wearing an olive green jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers is seen on video removing the victim’s bicycle.
- Person of interest #3 is identified as a male Black who was last seen wearing a hat, dark colored jacket, jeans, black sneakers and a back pack. He was outside of the deli and was armed with a firearm.
