WANTED: Burglary Pattern (Manhattan)

Elevator Burg Pattern

The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance with locating and identifying the individual in the attached surveillance photo in connection to several burglaries that occurred within the confines of the 13th and 14th Precincts. Details are as follows:

Incident #1 (13 Pct): It was reported to police that on Monday, August 10, 2015, at approximately 7:52 a.m. an unidentified individual did enter a commercial building located at 114 West 26th Street through the front door  and removed laptops from various offices before fleeing to parts unknown.

Incident #2 (13 Pct): It was reported to police that on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at approximately 7:30 p.m. an unidentified individual did enter The Open Sky located at 18 West 18th Street and removed several laptops from an office. There was no force entry reported.

Incident #3 (14 Pct): It was reported to police that Monday, October 5, 2015 at approximately 8:00 p.m. hours, an unidentified individual did enter The Audience Entertainment and Fai located at 460 Park Avenue and removed an iPhone 6 and laptops from an office before fleeing to parts unknown. There was no force entry reported.

Incident #4 (14 Pct): It was reported to police that on Monday, October 12, 2015 at approximately 8:29 a.m. hours, an unidentified individual did enter the  The Fairdinkum located at 15 East 32nd Street and removed two laptops from the office and then fled on foot through the building elevator.

Incident #5 (13 Pct): It was reported to police that on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at approximately 7:00 p.m. an unidentified individual did enter The Manhattan Media Management Office located at 72 Madison Avenue and removed two laptops and an Apple Mac desktop computer from the office before fleeing to parts unknown without any force entry reported.

Incident #6 (13 Pct): It was reported to police that on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at approximately 5:00 p.m. an unidentified individual did enter a commercial building located at 115 5th Avenue by braking a glass window and braking office doors to gain entry and then removing three laptops before fleeing to parts unknown.

Incident #7 (13 Pct): It was reported to police that on Friday, December 11, 2015 at approximately 8:00 p.m. an unidentified individual did enter The Imax building located at 145 West 28th Street through the rear door and removed laptops, beats and electronic items from the office before fleeing to parts unknown.

Incident #8 (13 Pct): It was reported to police that on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at approximately 6:49 p.m. an unidentified individual did enter The Group SJR building located at 22 West 21st Street through the unlocked front door and removed laptops and electronics items from an office before fleeing to parts unknown.

Incident #9 (13 Pct): It was reported to police that on Friday, February 12, 2016 at approximately 6:50 p.m. an unidentified individual did enter The Reboot building located at 152 West 25th Street by force entry through the front door and then removing three laptops from the office.

The individual is described as:

  • Male Black last seen wearing a long-sleeved shirt, black pants, black shoes, a black cap and carrying a book bag.
