WANTED: Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Bronx)


The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to an endangering the welfare of a child incident that occurred within the confines of the 41 Precinct (Bronx). Details are as follows:

On Monday February 22, 2016, at approximately 12:50 p.m. in the vicinity of 730 Bryant Avenue, the suspect approached a group of four 8 and 9 year-old males and females while they were inside of their school’s playground. After he engaged them in a brief conversation he pulled his pants down and exposed his genitals to them. After the victims yelled for help, the suspect fled Southbound on Longfellow Avenue.

The individual is described as:

  • Male black, with a mask over his face, last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and black and silver sneakers.
