WANTED: Assault (Bronx)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in regards to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 41st Precinct (Bronx). Details are as follows:

On Saturday, January 30,2016 at 5:10 a.m. an unknown individual did enter the Westchester Avenue and Simpson Street subway station and starting hitting the victim a 51-year-old female while she was waiting in the mezzanine area for the northbound 2 train. The individual did strike the victim with a closed fist striking the victim in the face and various parts of the body, after which the individual fled the location to parts unknown. The victim was treated at Lincoln Medical Center for her injuries.

The individual is described as:

  • Male, Hispanic, brown eyes, black hair, light complexion, approximately 50-year-old, 5’10” Tall, and 250 lbs.
  • Last seen wearing a black hat, black waist length coat, black jeans.
