WANTED: Robbery Pattern (Manhattan)

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect wanted for a commercial robbery pattern within the borough of Manhattan. Details are as follows:

Incident #1: On Monday, January 4, 2016 at 12:13 am the male suspect entered the Tri-Rite Deli located at 353 Avenue of the Americas, confines of the 6th Precinct, and displayed a black firearm and demanded money. The suspect removed cash and Newport cigarettes and fled the location. No injuries were reported.

Incident #2: On Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at 8:15 pm the male suspect entered the Unique News variety store located at 218 Broadway, confines of the 20th Precinct, and displayed a black firearm and demanded money. The suspect removed cash and Newport cigarettes and fled the location. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male with a light complexion, approximately 35-years-old, 5’7″ to 5’9″ tall, 180 pounds
  • Wearing a black mask and a black jacket.
