The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted for grand larceny in transit within the confines of the 1st Precinct/Transit District 2. Details are as follows:
On Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 5:30 pm, the victim, a 29-year-old female, boarded a southbound 4 Train at Grand Central Terminal and had her bag jostled while en route to Bowling Green, where upon disembarking she discovered that her bag was open and her wallet containing credit cards and personal identification documents had been removed. Later that day, at 2009 hours, two unknown female suspects used the victim’s credit card to make unauthorized men’s luxury purchases totaling $6,080.67 at the Louis Vuitton New York store at Macy’s Herald Square, 151 West 34 Street, in the confines of the Midtown South Precinct. At 10:43 pm, the suspects used the victim’s credit card to make an unauthorized purchase of a handbag totaling $2,395.25 at Gucci at Macy’s Herald Square.
