WANTED: Multiple Robberies (Bronx)

 


The NYPD is asking the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of three individuals wanted in connection with a robbery pattern within the confines of the 41 Precinct/Transit District 12 (Bronx). Details are as follows:

Incident #1 occurred on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:00 p.m., inside the train station located at Southern Boulevard and East 149 Street. A 37-year-old male victim was exiting the #6 train line when he was approached by three male suspects in the stairwell. One of the suspects restrained the victim from behind while another held the victim’s right arm. The third suspect then punched the victim about the face and body and removed his Samsung Galaxy, bank cards and a mountain bike. The suspects fled on Prospect Avenue toward East 152 Street. The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene.

Incident #2 occurred on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 11:10 p.m., inside the train station located at Southern Boulevard and Longwood Avenue. A 54-year-old male victim was going down the stairs toward the #6 train line when two male suspects approached him from behind and placed an unknown object in to his back. The suspects then forcibly removed cash from his front left pocket. The suspects fled to parts unknown. The victim sustained a laceration above his left eye and was removed to Lincoln Hospital for treatment.

The suspects are described as two male blacks and one male Hispanic, between the ages of 18 and 20, wearing gray sweat-suits and black sneakers.

Due to the modus operandi and description of the suspects, the following incident has been added to the pattern:

Incident #3 occurred on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at 9:20 p.m., at the East 149 Street Station. The victim, a 17-year-old male, was exiting the north bound #6 train when the suspects approached him and pushed him against the wall and removed his phone and an undetermined amount of cash. One of the suspects then took a photo of himself with the victim’s phone. That photo is attached and available at DCPI.
