Police Officers Benito Intravaia and Nicholas Mosby of 120 Precinct were named Cops of the Year.
Police Commissioner William Bratton, First Deputy Commissioner Benjamin Tucker, Chief of Department James O’Neill, and Staten Island Borough Commander Edward Delatorre helped the Chamber to hand out the Police Officer of the Month awards and recognize officers for their hard work, dedication to the community, and heroics. Two officers were also named Police Officer of the Year.
Twenty-one officers received the Police Officer of the Month Award during the ceremony:

February: PO Robert Hesterhagen and PO Rickie Minetello of the 121 Precinct
March: PO Rudy Anzalone and PO Christian Cataldo of the 120 Precinct
April: PO Erica Macauda of the 121 Precinct
May: Sgt. Brendan Heapes and PO Dominick Raso of the 120 Precinct
June: PO Daniel Sorito and PO Richard DiGangi of the 120 Precinct
July: PO Justin Solfaro of the 123 Precinct
August: PO Antonino Lopiccolo and PO Richard Ocasio of the 121 Precinct
September: PO Yong Yun and PO Daniel DeFalco of the 120 Precinct
October: PO Benito Intravaia and PO Nicholas Mosby of the 120 Precinct
November: PO Jesse Colon of the 122 Precinct
December: PO Edgardo Diaz and PO Nicholas Rentas of the 122 Precinct
Police Officers Benito Intravaia and Nicholas Mosby of 120 Precinct were named Cops of the Year for arresting a suspect on October 4, 2014 after he allegedly fired a weapon near Targee Street and Vanderbilt Avenue. After chasing the suspect on foot, the officers placed him in handcuffs and recovered an illegal 9mm handgun.
